In one paragraph:
This website stores nothing on your device that requires consent until you have given it. Only what the site genuinely needs in order to work — such as your light/dark preference and your cookie choice itself — is always stored. Statistics and advertising measurement start only after you click Accept all or save your own selection in the cookie banner. You can change that choice at any time.

1. What does this statement cover?

This cookie statement applies to the website www.inqlok.nl: our public website with information about InQlok, pricing, the ROI calculator and the demo request form.

This statement does not cover the InQlok application itself (inqlok.web.app), where your staff clock in and where hours, schedules, tips and leave are held. How we handle the personal data in that application is described in the privacy statement (Dutch). The application uses no advertising or statistics cookies.

2. Cookies and similar techniques

A cookie is a small file that a website stores on your device. Alongside cookies, websites also use local storage: storage in your browser that is not sent with every request. In law both are treated the same — both require consent unless they are strictly necessary to make the website work.

We therefore list everything we store below, whether it is a cookie or local storage. Each entry states which technique is used.

3. Necessary storage (no consent required)

These items are needed to make the website work or to honour your own choice. They stay on your own device, are not shared with third parties and contain no data by which we could personally identify you.

Name Technique Purpose Retention
inqlok-consent Local storage Remembers your cookie choice, so that we honour it and you do not see the banner again every visit. Until you delete it
inqlok-theme Local storage Remembers whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Until you delete it

4. Analytics storage (consent required)

This lets us measure how visitors use our website: which pages get read, how far people scroll, where they drop off and whether the demo form is clear. We use that to improve the website, not to track you personally.

4.1 Google Analytics 4

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Name Technique Purpose Retention
_ga Cookie Distinguishes visitors from one another using a random number. 2 years
_ga_<stream-id> Cookie Keeps track of the state of your visit (for example whether it is a new visit). 2 years

We have configured Google Analytics so that your IP address is anonymised and data is deleted automatically after 14 months. We have a data processing agreement in place with Google.

4.2 No session recordings and no heatmaps

We deliberately use no tool that records your visit or turns your mouse movements into a heatmap. There is therefore no party at all who can replay what you did on our pages.

What we do measure, we measure as separate events through Google Analytics:

This concerns numbers and the name or label of the element clicked — no images, no mouse movements, and nothing that can be linked to you as a person. What you type into form fields is never included.

4.3 A/B testing

We sometimes try two versions of a heading or button to see which is clearer. Which version you were shown is kept in local storage under inqlok-ab so that the website does not switch on every page. This happens only with your consent for analytics storage. Without it nothing is stored and we measure nothing. Retention: until you delete it.

5. Marketing storage (consent required)

We advertise through Google Ads. This storage lets us see which advertisement led to a demo request. Without that measurement we only know that an ad was clicked and not which ad works — meaning we spend budget without knowing on what.

Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Name Technique Purpose Retention
_gcl_au Cookie Links a click on an advertisement to a request on our website (conversion measurement). 90 days
inqlok-attribution Local storage Stores the click ID and campaign name from the advertising link, so that on a demo request we know which advertisement brought you to us. Until you delete it

If you request a demo, we keep that click ID with your request in our records. We do this in order to assess our advertising; it is separate from the storage on your device and is described in the privacy statement.

6. What happens if you refuse?

The website works fully, including the demo form and the calculators. Beyond that:

7. Changing or withdrawing your consent

You can adjust your choice at any time. At the bottom of every page of www.inqlok.nl there is a Cookie preferences link. Or use the button below:

If you withdraw consent, we delete the associated storage immediately. Cookies that Google and Microsoft had already placed can be cleared yourself through your browser settings, including per website:

You can also block Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.

8. Transfers outside the EU

Google is a US company. We obtain these services from its Irish entity and the data is processed within the European Union. Transfers to the United States may nevertheless occur, for example for support purposes. Such transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, for which Google is certified, supplemented by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

9. Legal basis and your rights

For necessary storage we rely on our legitimate interest in offering a working website. For analytics and marketing storage the basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act).

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and the right to withdraw your consent. To exercise these, contact us at privacy@elentrixx.com. A full overview of your rights is set out in the privacy statement.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
